ARC Research Hub for Molecular Biosensors at Point-of-Use (MOBIUS)

The NanoTech Laboratory is delighted to be part of the newly launched ARC Research Hub for Molecular Biosensors at Point-of-Use (MOBIUS), a national university–industry collaboration focused on accelerating Australia’s emerging biosensing industry.

Led by La Trobe University, MOBIUS brings together leading researchers, universities, and industry partners to develop and commercialise next-generation molecular biosensor technologies for point-of-use applications across health, environment, agriculture, and biosecurity. The Hub aims to bridge the gap between fundamental research and real-world deployment by advancing innovative sensing platforms, scalable manufacturing approaches, and translational pathways for impact.

NanoTech Laboratory will contribute expertise in nano-engineered sensing materials and translational sensor technologies, with our Lab Head, A/Prof. Noushin Nasiri, serving as a Co-Theme Leader in the Hub.
